About Dr Karanu

Dr Karanu holds a bachelor of medicine and surgery. He is also a member and fellow of the College of Surgeons of East, Central and Southern Africa ( COSECSA) in General and Gastro- surgery. He also holds a Masters in Medicine in Orthopaedic Surgery from Nairobi University.

He has a Masters in Business Administration with a bias in strategic management and currently in pursuit of a PHD in strategic management.

He has also had extensive work experience in government institutions, mission hospitals and non-governmental organizations including working with  refugees.

Dr Karanu currently works privately based in Upper hill, Fortis Suites, Suite 707, on the 7th floor, however he has admission rights to most major hospitals in and around Nairobi.

Dr Karanu also runs a television programme on healthcare with Royal Medical Services.
